I am David Thomas. I am a software engineer by trade. I am a physics graduate, and I currently have a UK deemed-EASA private pilot's licence with night qualification. I have nearly completed what most people know as an IMC rating.
EDIT: I completed the requirements for the IMC rating issue on 14 April 2013. I now await its issue by the Civil Aviation Authority. For me, this will be an EASA licence, and it will be designated as Instrument Rating (Restricted).
I have written two apps for my Android phone that are useful tools for aviation. At present they are not of good enough quality to publish (in my opinion), but I aim to improve them with a view to publication on the Google Play store. I have lots of ideas for apps that would be useful for aviation, and my mission is to develop the best aviation tools for phones and tablets that will increase every aviator's level of safety.
